Learn About Ways to Personalize Our Urns

Candle Perfection ‘Light of Life’™ Candle Cremation Urns are easy to maintain and care for. Because they are made with a durable nylon body and have a stainless steel urn lid, they will maintain their pristine beauty for many years.

Cleaning:
Cleaning your urn is very simple. Use a damp cloth to wipe dust off of the vinyl portions of your urn. If you notice smudges on the chrome or gold lid, use a paper towel with a small amount of Windex or other surface cleaner to wipe the metal portion. If you have a pewter insert for your urn, it may darken slightly over time. This is normal aging, and the dark areas are not dirty.

Refilling:
Refilling your urn is simple and quick. Candle Perfection urns use CandlePure™ liquid paraffin fuel. To refill them, you simply remove the upper candle portion of the Urn and remove the lid of the candle, taking care not to pull the wick out of the wick holder. Fill the fuel reservoir with Candle Perfection CandlePure™ liquid paraffin fuel, taking care not overfill or spill. Place the lid back on the candle, and the candle back onto the urn.

Wick Care:
Our unique wick and wick holder are almost maintenance free. The wick will never burn, and never needs to be replaced. If your flame is too small, or too large, you may need to adjust the amount of wick that is showing above the top of the brass wick holder. If you accidentally remove the wick from the wick holder, fold the wick in half and insert it into the wick holder from the bottom. Once the loop of the wick protrudes at the top, you may use a toothpick inserted in the loop to pull the wick to the desired height. We suggest that about 1/8 of an inch of wick protrudes above the wick holder for the perfect flame.
